Greek yogurt has taken the culinary world by storm. It’s thick, creamy, delicious, and offers some great health benefits. Not only is Greek yogurt great on its own, but there are tons of ways you can incorporate it into your cooking!

From dips to desserts to dinners, here are some of the best greek yogurt recipes that you can make today!

1. Greek Yogurt Mac & Cheese

The first thing you think of when you think about mac & cheese probably isn’t Greek yogurt, but you’d be surprised how good this one tastes! Plus, it’s just as easy as making any other mac & cheese you’re used to.

You’ll need 8 oz of pasta, 8 oz of shredded cheese, and of course about a 1/2 cup of greek yogurt (plain is best, but other flavors will work too for an extra flavorful kick). Cook up your macaroni, take some fresh spinach (about 2 cups) and put it in the bottom of your strainer as you pour the noodles into it. Then put your spinach, pasta, greek yogurt, cheese, and spices (1/4 cup of garlic powder, pepper, salt, and onion powder) back into the pot and mix it all together until it’s looking creamy and smooth like any other mac & cheese.

This will leave you with a delicious and unique tasting mac & cheese that’s got all the great protein of Greek yogurt. It makes the perfect comfort food!

2. Kale, Spinach, & Artichoke Dip

Greek yogurt dips are some of the best out there, and this kale spinach and artichoke dip is one for the books. All you’ll need is 2 cups of greek yogurt, 1/4 red onion, 1 carrot, 2 tbs of minced garlic, 2 cups of kale & spinach, salt, pepper, paprika, and 1/2 cup of artichoke hearts. Simply process all this up in a food processor or chop it all up really fine, mix it together, and get stirring!

If the mixture doesn’t seem creamy enough, add more Greek yogurt. Try and find that balance between the chunky vegetables and the yogurt.

3. Greek Yogurt Pancakes

Take a container of Greek yogurt (blueberry, strawberry, whatever flavor you prefer) and mix it with two eggs. Put 1/2 cup of flour and a tsp of baking soda in a separate bowl and mix this up, then pour your egg and yogurt mixture in as well. Stir this all up until it makes a thick batter, then scoop it onto a hot skillet and make pancakes as usual.

Feel free to add some fruit into the mixture while it’s cooking and you’re done! This is an easy and tasty recipe that will change the way you think about pancakes.

4. Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Greek Yogurt

Surveys say mashed is the most beloved way to eat potatoes, so why not add everyone’s favorite type of yogurt into the mix?

For this one you’ll need 2 lbs of potatoes, 1 tsp kosher salt, 5 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tbsp unsalted butter, 1 cup Greek yogurt, pepper, and 1/4 cup chopped chives. Put your potatoes and 1/2 tsp of salt into a pot of water, boil it up, and then simmer for about 10 minutes until the potatoes are nice and tender. While you’re doing this, put some garlic and butter in a separate skillet for two minutes until the garlic becomes light golden in color.

Drain your potatoes and put them in a large bowl, then add your garlic-butter mixture and get mashing. Once you’ve got the consistency you like, mix in your Greek yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper, and mash that in even further. Add in your chives and you’ve got a creamy, yogurty mashed potato dish that’ll impress everyone you serve it to.

5. Greek Yogurt Cupcakes

Get 1 2/3 cups cake flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt and baking soda, 6 tbsp unsalted butter, 1 large egg, 1 large egg white, 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract, and 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt. Whisk your dry ingredients together in a bowl (cake flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) until combined and then add in your 6 tbsp of butter until crumbs form. Mix your wet ingredients in a separate bowl (1 egg, 1 egg white, 1 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract), then add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk until smooth.

Fill your cupcake liners until they’re over half full, and bake this at 350˚F for about 20 minutes. Let these cool, and you’ve got some delicious cupcakes made with Greek yogurt! Frost them however you prefer, but a cream cheese based frosting tastes delicious on top of these.

6. Frozen Greek Yogurt

It’s easier than you might think to make frozen Greek yogurt if you have an ice cream maker, and it’s healthier than ice cream. You’ll need 1/4 cup water, 2/3 cup sugar, 2 large egg whites, 3 1/2 cups plain greek yogurt (flavored works too), and 2 tsp vanilla extract.

Get a small saucepan and combine your water and sugar. On medium-high heat, bring these ingredients to a boil for about 1 1/2. Beat your egg whites to soft peaks in a separate bowl, then slowly add the boiled sugar to this bowl.

Beat this mixture together in a mixer until it gets glossy, and let it cool to room temperature. Add in your yogurt and vanilla and pour all this into your ice cream maker, and freeze until you get that ice-cream texture. It’s that easy!

For all these recipes you can use store-bought Greek yogurt, or you can also make your own Greek yogurt using a state-of-the-art Greek yogurt maker. It’s up to you!
